Terna Tarka, the ex-husband of actress and BB reality TV star, Venita Akpofure, said it never crossed his mind to give her to visitors as ‘entertainment.’
In a viral video, Tarka disclaimed Venita’s controversial statement impugning adultery about his kinsmen during her stay in the BBNaija ‘All Stars’ house.
The mother of two claimed that Tiv men give their wives to visitors for ‘entertainment purposes,’ implying that they allow their wives to sleep with their guests for entertainment.

At that time, her statement sparked outrage among the Tiv people from Benue state, and she was accused of defaming their culture.
A member of House of Representatives, Hon. Dickson Tarkighir, threatened to file a N10 billion lawsuit against her.
However, after she was evicted from the show and seeing the damage her statement had caused, she publicly apologised to the clan.
“The statement I made about Tiv people got twisted a bit. My daughters are actually Tiv. There’s no way I will be trying to make any kind of malicious or slanderous comment towards their people.
Actually, in my season we did a whole play around the Tor Tiv coronation which I participated in and was super excited about.
So, you know, sometimes you will say something maybe it is a little bit carelessly. And I think it got really misconstrued. And for those that are offended by it, I’m regretful about that.”
In a recent video shared online, her ex-husband, Tarka refuted claims of such a disturbing cultural practice among his people.
Terna, who was seemingly responding to Venita, added that throughout their marriage, it never crossed his mind to give her to their visitors for entertainment.
