Like a dramatic episode, ruling on the case between Akan Okon, the PDP governorship aspirant and Pastor Umo Eno, the PDP Governorship candidate for Akwa Ibom State is given in doses.

Justice Agatha Okeke presiding over the the case at Federal High Court, Uyo is delivering the break-taking judgement that has kept many supporters and admirers and party faithful in suspense for hours.

Scene 1: Court upholds Akan Okon’s argument, dismisses objections by PDP and Pastor Umo Eno that the Federal High Court lacks jurisdiction to entertain the suit challenging the candidature of Pastor Eno as PDP standard bearer for 2023 elections.

Scene 2: Court rejects letter purportedly written by West African Examinations Council to a group, Association for Advancement of Democracy in Nigeria alleging that Pastor Umo Eno’s WAEC certificates were forged.

Scene 3: Court rules that Pastor Umo Eno’s witness and State Counsel at Ministry of Justice, Barr Emmanuel Essien had right as staffer of Office of Attorney-General to tender documents from WAEC confirming 1981, 1983 certificates of Umo Bassey Eno.

Scene 4:  The court held that Pastor Umo Eno’s students information form from University of Uyo tendered by Mr. Akan Okon as an exhibit was not certified by the University as required by law.
