    NCDC Confirms 133 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria

    The  Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Sunday evening, October 18, confirmed 133 new cases of Coronavirus infection in the country.

    Straightnews reports that the new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via the NCDC’s official Twitter handle.

    This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 61,440 which includes 56,611 discharged cases and 1,125 deaths.

    The infections were reported in nine states with Lagos State recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by Rivers State and FCT.
