The 40th birthday bash of Ini Edo, Nollywood actress, was graced by a galaxy of Nigerian celebrities in Lagos on Sunday, May 8.
Iniobong Edo Ekim popularly known as Ini Edo born on April 23, 1982 marked her birthday with friends and family members.
The roll call: D’Banj, KOK, Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Mercy Eke, Toke Makinwa, RMD, Rita Dominic, and James Brown, Nigerian cross dresser, among others stormed Edo’s lavish party.
Tagged ‘Brown Sugar at 40,’ the party’s dress code read Elegance and many of the celebrator’s colleagues and top celebrities: Kate Henshaw, Mo Abudu, Toyin Abraham, Shaffy Bello, Peter Psquare, Ay Makun and more complied with it.

Sharing the photos, Ini Edo counted her blessings and concluded that she has been blessed with most loving friends in the world.

Recall that on Sunday, May 1, 2022, Akwa Ibom born Nollywood star celebrated her 40th birthday with Onna women drawn from villages and wards in the area.
More than 140 women received seed capital to boost their small scale businesses and other training packages.
At Onna Council Hall, Ini encouraged the women to be self-reliant, by setting a stage for women and girls through the GEM Africa Initiative to be trained and equipped to proffer local and global solutions across variant sectors of the economy.
The Award-winning actress who is the Special Assistant on Tourism Development to Governor Udom Emmanuel seeks to use this position to reach thousands of women across Africa.
Ini who attended Cornelia Connely College in Uyo, Nigeria began her film career in 2000, and has featured in more than 100 movies.
In 2013, Ini Edo was a judge for the Miss Black Africa UK Pageant. In 2014, she was appointed as a United Nations Habitat Youth Envoy.
Ini hails from Onna Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State and is the second in a family of four – one elder cousin whom she considers her elder sister, a younger brother and a younger sister. Her mother was a school teacher, and her father, a church elder.
In November 2008, Ini and Phillip Ehiagwina, a US-based Nigerian businessman, officially wedded in Nigeria and in February 2009, they also wedded in Houston, Texas where her husband resides.
Unfortunately, the six-year marriage crashed in 2014 and Ehiagwina cited “irreconcilable differences” as the major reason for the divorce.
