Nigerian Woman Redeems A 20-Year-Old Son As A Vow In Church

A Nigerian woman has redeemed her vow by handing over a 20-year-old son to God Almighty in The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, in Lagos.

Testifying during Sunday service at The Redeemed camp Ground in Lagos, the woman (name withheld) said “I was invited by my father in the Lord to this church in 1995. Before this time, I had been married for 11 years, yet there was no child. There was nothing which I did not do to have a child.

“My mother invited a witch doctor and he gave me ‘something’ which I put in my private part for three days. I went through excruciating pains. I had attended Celestial Church of God and I was given three eggs to eat in one minute. Yet, no child! I had visited hospitals and medical doctors told me that I had no Fallopian tube.”

In a testimony beamed by Dove Television, Lagos and monitored in Uyo, she recalled “When I attended this church, our father in the Lord, Pastor Enoch Adeboye had a word of knowledge. He prophesied that there was a woman in the congregation with no Fallopian tube, but the Lord said she would have a child.

“I immediately, I jumped and claimed the prophecy by chorusing ‘Amen.’ I told God if He gives me a male child, I will name him Samuel and hand over the child to Him when he is 20 years old.

“I was that woman without a Fallopian tube. Not long, I took in and delivered a son. Today, I am here to return glory to God for answering my prayer. I am here to return Samuel unto God. He was 20 years old in June 2019.”

Responding, Pastor Adeboye, the General Overseer of RCCG thanked God Almighty for always honouring the words of His servant.

Adeboye said “He is God of signs and wonders, I AM that I AM, the miracle worker, the God that was and will remain forever and ever,” and thanked the woman for redeeming her vow.
