The trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has been adjourned to November 10 as he pleaded not guilty to the amended charges against him by the Federal Government.
Kanu was today arraigned at the Federal High Court in Abuja over charges of treasonable felony and terrorism which the Federal Government amended last week to amount to a seven-count charge.
Shortly after pleading not guilty today, the judge ordered that he remains in the custody of the Department of State Services after failing to grant his request to be transferred to a correctional centre.
