Suspected robbers in the early hours of Tuesday raided 10 houses in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina, a source has said. The source who did not want his name in print said the robbers stormed the area and shot sporadically. The source also said the operation lasted for about two hours, noting that the robbers arrived at about 1:30am and left 3:15am
The spokesperon, Katsina State Police Command, DSP Gambo Isah told our StraightNews reporter about the incident, saying it got a distress call at about 1:35 a.m and mobilised men of the Anti-Robbery Squad, who swung into action. The Police Public Relations Officer, however, confirmed that no case of arrest, injury and stolen property has so far been made.
