This is to inform friends, subscribers and readers of StraightNews.ng that we will be temporarily not publishing news pieces for a 72-hour period starting from today December 22nd (11:00 PM) to Sunday December 24th (10:00 PM).
However, our website will still be available and accessible for your reading pleasure within this period with the only difference being a temporary suspension in publishing regular news.
We have been duly notified that our Web Host Company is taking steps to improve the quality of service on their servers and by extension the quality of hosting service provided to us by embarking on a migration process to ultimately ensure optimal performance.
The company says the process should be seamless without any downtime, and warns that during this period we should not make updates to our database (which also constitutes publishing of our regular news) to avoid accidental and irrevocable loss of data.
Please, kindly bear with us during this brief period.
In the meantime, we shall be publishing on the StraightNews Facebook Page in order to still reach you with our regular news items.
However, we shall resume full production as from Monday, December 25, 2017.
