Bishop (Dr) Emeka Nwankpa, the General Overseer of Chapel of Faith Bible Assembly International, has eulogised Rev (Dr.) Uma Ukpai as he marks his 78th birthday.
In a press release personally signed by him, Bishop Dr Emeka Nwankpa who is Accord Party governorship candidate in Abia State said, ‘‘I honour you, the revered cleric, as you mark your 78th birthday.
‘‘You are a shining light to Christendom and gift to mankind. May the Almighty God continue to guide and sustain you as you continue to win more souls for Christ.’’

While reiterating his commitment to taking Abia back to God as his first assignment when he emerges the Abia Governor, the frontline governorship hopeful used the opportunity to urge the Christian faithful to pray for Nigeria as the country approaches another general election.
Born on January 7, 1945, Uma is a Christian leader, an international evangelist, and preacher from Nigeria.
From Arochukwu in Abia State, he is the founder and president of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, a non-denominational gospel ministry based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Married to Pastor Philomena, he is blessed with eight children and an adopted child. He lost two of his children to an accident many years ago.
