Ex-President OIusegun Obasanjo has branded President Muhammadu Buhari ‘’King in the North’’ purportedly for appointing Yusuf Bichi, a Northerner as the new Director-General of Department of State Services, DSS.
Bichi who has resumed duty took over from Matthew Seiyefa from Bayelsa State appointed as an acting Director-General of DSS by Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the then acting President after the sack of Lawal Daura.
Obasanjo who in his Twitter handle on Saturday tweeted ‘’Whenever I think the “King in the North” has healed from nepotism, tribalism, favouritism and irredentism, he will prove me wrong by striking another low blow.’’
The ex-president, an urepentant critic of President Buhari who is gunning for a second term in the office, remarked ‘’Now that he has shown that he’s eternally irredeemable, it shouldn’t be hard voting him out in 2019.’’
