Victor Osimhen powered a brace to lead Galatasaray to a dramatic 4-2 victory over Antalyaspor on Saturday triumphing the Turkish Super Lig title holder for a record-extending 26th time.

The victory secured Galatasaray’s fourth consecutive league crown, matching the club’s historic run between 1996 and 2000 and further cementing their status as Turkey’s most successful football club.

Osimhen delivered spectacular performance as Galatasaray officially clinched their record-extending 26th league championship, continuing their dominance in Turkish football with a fourth consecutive title triumph.

In a tense and entertaining encounter, Antalyaspor twice fought back into the game through Samet Dikmen’s goals in first-half stoppage time and the 62nd minute.

However, Galatasaray showed the mentality of champions, responding through Mario Lemina, Osimhen, and Kaan Ayhan.

Osimhen first found the net from the penalty spot in the 66th minute, calmly restoring parity after Antalyaspor’s second equalizer.

With the title race hanging in the balance late in the match, the Super Eagles forward produced the defining moment of the night in the 88th minute, firing home a dramatic winner to spark wild celebrations among the home supporters.

Kaan Ayhan added a late goal in stoppage time to seal the 4-2 victory and confirm Galatasaray as champions once again.

Despite playing through discomfort with a protective hand brace and his trademark face mask, Osimhen displayed remarkable determination and leadership throughout the campaign. His ability to deliver in decisive moments has made him one of the club’s most influential figures during their title-winning run.

The triumph marks Osimhen’s second league title with Galatasaray and further cements his reputation as one of Africa’s elite forwards.

Across the season, the Nigerian striker consistently provided crucial goals and match-winning performances, leading the line with intensity, resilience, and a relentless winning mentality.

For Galatasaray, the victory reinforces their status as Turkey’s most successful club. For Osimhen, it is yet another milestone in a career that continues to shine on the European stage.
