    Pastor Ezekiel Atang’s remains interred in his hometown

    The remains of Ezekiel Atang, Senior Pastor of God’s House of Refuge, Uyo were interred after funeral service on Thursday, March 31.

    The clergyman noted for Frank Talk to Singles passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 after a three-day programme of Wordspring Gospel and Worship Centre, Onitsha, Anambra State.

    Funeral rites for the man of God began on Wednesday, March 30 with a Service of Songs at the church auditorium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

    Lying-in-state was held on Thursday, March 31 at the church premises by 8 a.m. while a funeral service was held at the Ibom Hall Ground, Uyo.

    Governor Emmanuel Udom, Dr. Paul and Dr. Mrs Becky Enenche, Rev (Dr) Uma Ukpai, Kingsley Okonkwo and other top dignitaries were at the burial of Pastor Atang on Thursday.

    In their separate prayers, Dr Enenche and Rev. Ukpai, prayed God to keep the church in the absence of the founder and also prayed for strength and protection to the family.

    Born March 14, 1973, Atang’s remains were interred in Ikot Udota, Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom.
