The plenary of the house which was adjourned last week after Governor Udom Emmanuel had presented the 2019 budget wll reconvene Monday few hours from now to consider some urgent matters of state interest.
The protesters who are said to be carrying placards of various inscriptions later burnt tyres along the road.
Though motorists are allowed to be using a section of the road, security men are said to be hands to checkmate a breakdown of law and order and to ease any chaotic traffic situation.
Speaking with a Peoples Parliament presenter, Planet FM, Uyo on Monday, Mr. Ituen refuted the claim that he was not aware the people protested in his favour, saying the law was on his side because there was a notice on appeal and a stay of execution.
