President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, tripped and fell while entering a ceremonial vehicle at the 2024 Democracy Day event.

Tinubu approached the car immediately after arriving at the programme’s destination, Eagles Square in Abuja.

It was noticed that the President lost his balance just as he was about to step into the vehicle.

However, despite that, the President soon regained his balance and resumed the proceedings.

It should be noted that the gathering at Eagles Square was part of a series of activities commemorating the country’s Democracy Day.

Recall that Tinubu, then as the APC National leader almost fell after missing his step at the 11th edition of the annual Arewa House lecture series in Kaduna 0n March 27, 2021.

Equally, the US president, Joe Biden, tripped and fell after handing out the last diploma at a graduation ceremony at the US air force academy in Colorado.

Biden fell to the ground before being quickly helped up by an air force officer and two Secret Service agents. He walked back to his seat unassisted. The White House communications director, Ben LaBolt, tweeted: ‘He’s fine. There was a sandbag on stage while he was shaking hands’ on June 1, 2023.
