The personality altercation between heavyweight music divas, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade has deepened as both singers have stopped following each other on social media.
The cold war recently began when Yemi Alade rated herself equal to Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Davido, Olamide and other A’list music acts ruling the Nigerian music scene during a radio interview.
To worsen matters, Yemi Alade refused to defend Tiwa when the Radio Presenter simply known as Misi, said unlike Yemi who is a good singer, Tiwa only shouts.
Obviously pained by Yemi Alade’s betrayal by refusing to defend her, Tiwa wasted no time in reacting to the development. To prove Misi wrong, she shared a video of herself singing beautifully on social media and made allusions to Misi begging for financial assistance from her, an accusation Misi has since denied.
Showtime’s investigations revealed that both divas may not have been best of friends from the onset; little wonder a trivial matter such as this could make them wash their dirty linens in public.
