Veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has been laid to rest.
He was buried on Friday in his hometown of Amuri, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Videos circulating on social media earlier revealed the arrival of his body as family, friends, and colleagues gathered to bid him a final farewell.
Pall bearers in colourful attires shoved the gold-plated coffins around as a moving band set supplied melodious tunes.

In October 2023, Mr Ibu shared a video announcing to his fans that he was diagnosed with an illness which he did not disclose.
According to the thespian, his doctor had said if the prescribed medications fail, his leg will be amputated.
Some Nigerians came to his rescue, including the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation.
In November, the late actor underwent a leg amputation.
His family said this was done due to his medical conditions and to save his life after he had undergone seven successful surgeries.
The veteran Nollywood actor acted in more than 200 Nollywood movies. He also ventured into music, just for a short period.
