A 24-year-old girl packed seven distinctions to emerge the overall best graduating medical student in the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Dr. Uzoaku Odinakachukwu Amadi was Wednesday announced at the 18th Induction Physician’s Oath taking ceremony (Sponsio Academia) of the University.
Amadi with registration number 13/CS/MB/701 also bagged best in Anatomy, Physiology, Clinical Biochemistry, Laboratory Medicine and Paediatrics.
Others are Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Community Medicine, and Family Medicine.
Born in 1997 from Imo State, she attended Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Owerri, and emerged the best graduating student from nursery to secondary schools’ level.
The Ikeduru-born girl, who combines beauty with academic excellence, loves reading, writing, drawing and painting.
