If stupendous wealth is a major criterion to Aso Rock, Abuja, then Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, may paddle smoothly to the palace.

On Thursday, November 8, Atiku, the former Nigerian Vice President, set many tongues wagging through social media publication that he would pay N33,000 minimum wage with effect from November 2018 to his 100,000 workers spread across different conglomerates.

Aconservative arithmetic shows that Atiku will cough up a princely N33 billion in 10 months to his workers, though many state governments in the country are still undecided to pay N30,000 new minimum wage to their workers, the total which may come down to N30 billion in 10 months for a state with a low wage bill.

Unlike President Muhammadu Buhari who groups mopped cash in the first and second terms to pick presidential forms for him, Atiku has not problem in that Atiku Campaign Organisation bought the form for him.

A Youtube video tagged: Atiku Abubakar: Net Worth shows that he is officially worth $1.4 billion converting the amount to naira will tentatively ut at N400 billion. He has four wives and 26 children.

His businesses include Intels, Prodeco Ltd, Atiku Abubakar Farm, American University of Nigeria and ABTI International Secondary School, among others.

Atiku owns Potomac at Maryland, Lagos, worth $2.95 million, Embraer Phenom 100 worth $4.1 million, Rolex Gold Diamond watches in which each is not less than $25,455 million.

Other property are Mercedes Benz 550, Lexus 570, Toyota Cruiser, Toyota Highlander, Peugeot Pick Up, hundreds of branded campaign jeep cars while he bought 12 Land Cruiser cars and donated Buhari Campaign Organisation.

Born in 1946, Atiku who is a Fulani hails from Adamawa State in Nigeria.
