Like a storm, COVID-19 surfaced in China November 2019 but spread to, and became severe, in other countries early last year. Though the pandemic defied scientific and religious predictions, it has swept many lives, economies, marriages and social lives in different countries underground.

In a bid to curb its spikes, many countries declared lockdown, even others are still on lockdown. Akin to plunging people into a gulag, the lockdown has birthed adversities with its attendant effects.

With the late discovery of vaccines by US, Russia and a few other countries to tame the pandemic’s angst, COVID-19 lockdown has produced what could be called ‘poisons.’ In short, the lockdown has brought about a rise in social vices.

In the aftermath of the pandemic lockdown, Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles and Ministries has diagnosed 25 poisons that have damaged the social, political, moral and economic fabrics in the world.

In his message during Power Must Change Hands prograrmme streamed live online on Saturday, January 2, he identified the poisons caused by dark powers during the lockdown  in the lives of individuals.

To overcome, the clergyman proffered the need for God’s divine presence, living a life of holiness and embarking on aggressive prayers to checkmate the poisons injected by dark powers into lives of people during the pandemic lockdown.
