A certain Raymond Ihugba has been murdered by his wife in Akwakuma Autonomous Community in the Owerri North Council Area of Imo State. Iuhagba, 50-year-old and father of four children was reportedly killed by his wife, Augustina, after a protracted squabble ensued between them. The managing director of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), Uchechi Orji has been re-appointed for another term of five years. A statement by the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, on Thursday, October 12 said President Muhammadu Buhari approved the re-appointment. The United States and Israel Thursday announced they were quitting the U.N.’s cultural agency- United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), citing anti-Israeli bias as reason for the action. Medical doctors working in the Nigeria’s public service have been banned by the Federal Government (FG) from engaging in private practice. The General-Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly, Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, a.k.a Rev. King may soon be executed by Lagos State Government. The Supreme Court had on February 27, 2016 affirmed the death sentence passed on King by the Appeal Court.
