The country’s inflation sluggishly rose from 11.23 per cent in August to 11.28 per cent in September 2018. The rise was the second consecutive rise in headline inflation after 18 consecutive months of decline in the rate. This was contained in the Consumer Price Index of National Bureau of Statistics released on Tuesday. “The Consumer Price Index, which measures inflation, increased by 11.28 per cent year-on-year in September 2018.
