The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has ordered the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai, to pay N11million as damages for the breach of fundamental rights of 11 Gombe State indigenes illegally detained by officers of the Nigerian Army. Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State, Thursday, assured popular gospel artiste, Evangelist Yinka Ayefele, whose music studio was demolished on Sunday, that his government would take steps that would put smiles on his face. A Nigerian has killed a fellow from Awgu local government area in Enugu State in South Africa. The 28-year-old Okolie Olileanyi Paul was allegedly stabbed to death by a fellow Nigerian and a housemate, Mr Donald Mordi from Ika Northeast local government area in Delta State.
