President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the constitution of National Food Security Council’s membership. Malam Garba Shehu, senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, made the announcement in a statement in Abuja on Friday. An 11-year-old housemaid who was said to have hacked her boss’ five-year-old son, appeared in an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos. The accused was brought Friday before the court on a charge for murder. The Senate resolved Thursday to write Walter Onnogen, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, to caution judges and ask them to respect the principle of separation of powers.
