The Akwa Ibom government has no longer hidden its intention to introduce contributory pension scheme to civil servants in the state, and has therefore begged the Nigeria Labour Congress to encourage the workers to accept the scheme. President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the constitution of National Food Security Council’s membership. Malam Garba Shehu, senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, made the announcement in a statement in Abuja on Friday.
