The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congress, TUC, have declared a nationwide strike over the failure of the Federal Government to meet their demands. A professional association has called on Akwa Ibom Government to ensure that the completion of abandoned Ukanafun Cottage Hospital in the State rises beyond mere rhetoric. A section of the Supreme Court was on fire on Monday morning, though no casualty was recorded, the court said.
