Seven graduates from Akwa Ibom State, abducted in Zamfara State on their way to the Sokoto State NYSC orientation camp, are still languishing day 52 on Sunday in the dungeon of their abductors. A 17-year-old marriage between a former banker and his wife has been dissolved by Akwa Ibom State High Court in Uyo. The court presided over by Justice Ntong Ntong dissolved the marriage Friday and awarded primary custody of the two female children of the union to their mother. Contrary to reports in some social media that embattled Professor Cyril Ndifon, the former dean of the University of Calabar’s Faculty of Law was kidnapped, the Department of State Services has cleared the air that the don was in their custody.
