University of Uyo is among the 86 varsities involved in illegal admissions, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) declared. A report by The Punch said data analysis of data on the admissions conducted for the 2022/2023 admission session in Nigerian universities, polytechnics and other tertiary institutions of learning revealed that 88 institutions conducted admissions outside of the Central Admissions Processing System popularly referred to as CAPS. The Community Court of Justice, ECOWAS, Wednesday, ruled that the Federal Republic of Nigeria violated the human rights of Obianuju Udeh and two others.
