Delta, Rivers and Akwa Ibom, the oil-rich Nigerian states, got N93.1 billion bumper allocations in February 2024 from the revenue generated in January 2024. Delta got N38.1 billion, Rivers, N28.4 billion while Akwa Ibom received N26.6 billion of the N2.07 trillion shared to the three tiers of government. The identities of the Nigerian Army commander, three officers, and 13 soldiers who were killed by attackers in the Okuama in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State have been published.
