Uruguay beat Italy 1-0 on Sunday to win their first Under-20 World Cup crown at  at Tolosa, La Plata, Argentina on Sunday, ending a streak of four consecutive wins of European teams in the tournament. The latest is the family of Iniodu George Ukpong, a professor of Environmental Parasitology in the Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Cross River (UNICROSS), Calabar. Enyimba Football Club have won the 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title, extending their record as the most successful club in the Nigerian league.
