At least, 33 wives of Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) fighters were reportedly slaughtered by Boko Haram adherents in Sambisa forest. The atrocity was perpetrated by Boko Haram to avenge the killing of its Commander, Malam Aboubakar (Munzir) and 15 other fighters who were neutrialised in a deadly clash. Cameroon football legend Samuel Eto’o has apologised for his violent attack on Algerian Youtuber, a video of which has gone viral on social media since Tuesday morning. The images show the current president of the Cameroonian Football Federation dryly hit in the face by a cameraman, falling backwards. The incident was recorded shortly after Brazil’s 4-1 victory over South Korea in the World Cup. Unknown gunmen have abducted the Benue State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Ekpe Ogbu, Sunday night, December 4, at about 8.45 p.m. Also the Honourable Agbo Ode, one of his in-laws and the driver of the commissioner were abducted.
