The Federal High Court, Abuja, Tuesday, ordered the committal of the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa, to prison over contempt. Facebook-parent Meta will become the latest tech firm to scale back its workforce, with plans to lay off thousands of employees this week, the United States media reported Sunday.
