By Our reporters Fire has gutted the Rivers State House of Assembly Complex in Port Harcourt ablaze. The fire was reported at about 10 p.m. on Sunday. It is suspected that hoodlums have reportedly set the complex ablaze. Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) wants the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, to pursue constitutional and legal reforms that would recognize Nigerians’ right to vote securely in free, fair and honest elections as a fundamental right. A young man from Udianga Enem village in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, has lost his life while he was trying to steal electric cables belonging to the community.
