Eight members of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) were abducted by gunmen along a highway in Zamfara State, Nigeria’s North-west region. More than 100 terrorists have reportedly died in a deadly clash between Boko Haram and Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) in the Lake Chad of Marte in Borno State. The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has vowed to approach a court to seek an order restraining former Nigerian governors particularly those serving as ministers from accessing life pensions.
