Ecobank, a West African financial services group, is pursuing the acquisition of shares recently acquired by Nigerian tycoon, Oba Otudeko in FBN Holdings due to his indebtedness to the bank. Oba Otudeko and his affiliated companies owe Ecobank over N13.5 billion ($17.1 million). In a landmark judgment, the Federal High Court in Abuja, ordered the disclosure of the spending details of about $5 billion Abacha loot by the governments of former presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari.
