Brazil football legend and three-time World Cup winner Pele, has died at age 82. Pele had been treated for colon cancer, following surgery to remove a tumour in September 2021, and had required regular medical treatment. The President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Prof. George Obiozor is dead, Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has confirmed. Cross River Governor Ben Ayade has ordered discontinuation and investigation into Bikers/Exotic Cars parade of the Calabar Carnival tragedy as about seven persons were feared killed and over 20 injured.
