Ibeno Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State has imposed dusk-to-dawn curfew to check further escalation of the clashes between Ibeno and Yoruba fishermen in the area. The Delta Police Command has rescued five females including underage girls allegedly being used as 3ex slaves in a brothel in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.  The command rounded up the girls during its a sting operation at Fagoma Hotel, located at Aragba on Friday, April 15. Suspected gunmen are demanding N100 million ransom  to free abducted Apostle John Okoriko, who is  the founder of Solid Rock Kingdom Church in Akwa Ibom State. Okoriko was abducted at his church residence at Ibekwe Akpan Nya in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of the state.
