Today is judgement Day in Nigeria’s Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital. It is a day the Federal High Court, Uyo will give ruling on the case by Mr. Akan Okon, a former Commissioner for Economic Development and Ibaka Deep seaport and Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, the PDP governorship aspirant in May 2022 party primary. Nigeria is spending $39.67 billion which is nine per cent of the country’s Gross Domestic Product to address climate change in Nigeria, the Minister of Environment, Mohammed Abdulahi, said on Wednesday. An Australian man, Wednesday, bagged 129 years in a Philippine jail as part of a child sexual abuse case involving victims as young as 18 months, a prosecutor announced. A 23-year-old has been arrested after eggs were thrown at King Charles 111 and Queen Consort during a visit to Yorkshire. The No Man’s Land Magistrates Court, Kano, Wednesday, ordered administration of 20 lashes each on Mubarak Isa Muhammad and Nazifi Muhammad Bala, for defaming Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. In addition, the two Tiktokers were ordered to sweep and wash the court toilets for 30 days, for posting ‘Ganduje Sleeps A Lot’ on their Tiktok social media account.
