Six suspects who allegedly stripped and paraded a woman at Agunese, Afam-Mmaku community in Awgu Local Government Area of  Enugu State are facing prosecution. Spokesperson of the command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, who stated this in a statement on Friday, November 4, 2022, said the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Ahmed Ammani, has ordered full-scale investigation into the incident and prosecution of the culprits. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has sworn in 19 newly appointed Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) ahead of the 2023 General Elections. President Muhammadu Buhari in July this year, transmitted the names of the 19 RECs nominees to the Senate for confirmation, before the upper chamber on October 5 confirmed their nominations despite protests. More than one million people were displaced by flooding in Nigeria as at October 24,  statistics from Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development Ministry showed. A man, Sunday Etukudo, from Omum Unyam village in the Etim Ekpo Local Government Area of the state is cooling his feet in police command for allegedly killing his daughter, and burying her corpse in the family compound.
