The headless body of a former member of Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nelson Emeka Achukwu, has been discovered. The body was recovered two weeks after Achukwu was abducted from his residence in in Ukpor, Nnewi South local government area of Anambra State. Prices of selected food items in Nigeria have risen as Akwa Ibom recorded the highest in yam tuber in May, National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said.
