The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has emerged as the overall winner of the 26th edition of the Nigeria University Games Association (NUGA)’s sporting activities for the fifth time. The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and Non-Academic Staff Union of Allied and Educational Institutions (NASU) will embark on a two-week warning strike  from Monday. Nigeria’s Super Eagles will collect €12.2 million (N5.6 billion) from FIFA if they qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup later this year. The family of  Barr. Godwin Akpan Ikoiwak who was found dead in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has asked Inspector-General of Police to unravel perpetrators of his death.
