Twenty members of Cross River State House of Assembly of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, were sacked by the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday. The lawmakers defected from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the country. Members of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT, Akwa Ibom State wing say they have suspended their industrial strike declared against State government over unpaid entitlements. The Peoples Democratic Party is set to hold Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami on the jugular for supporting the Federal High Court judgment deleting Section 84(10) of the Electoral Act. Nigerians have been asked to report police officers who stop them while on the road for a tinted glass permit, announcing that the issuance of the permit has been suspended. In a tweet thread on Sunday,  Olumuyiwa Adejobi, acting Police Public Relations Officer PRO, said no officer is empowered to question a car owner who has tinted glass.
