Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Thursday evening, arrested Willie Obiano, the immediate past Anambra State Governor. Six suspects involved in indecent assault of a widow for allegedly causing her husband’s death in Eziagulu-Otu, Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area are in police custody.  Recall that the widow accused of killing her husband by having extra marital affairs, was beaten, stripped naked by her in-laws and forced to swear an oath before their deity. Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana who aligned his thought with the sack of Ebonyi Governor, David Umahi, and his deputy, Eric Igwe, declared that elections are won by political parties and not by candidates. Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja had sacked the Ebonyi governor and the deputy governor over their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has arrested 14 suspected vandals of adulterated Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) in Akwa Ibom. Moreover, it says it has impounded 170, 000 litres of suspected adulterated Automotive Gas Oil.
