An 11-year-old girl who gave birth to a boy on January 14, in Makurdi, the Benue state capital has been abandoned by her aunt’s husband, the alleged rapist. The girl- Victoria Ajeh- was allegedly raped and impregnated by one Joseph, her aunt in-law. Anthony Ajeh, 45, the minor’s father narrated how he found out about his daughter’s travail. Boko Haram terrorists allegedly abducted many police instructors when they invaded the Police Mobile Training School in Limankara Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State. The training school is located 25 kilometres from Gwoza town, the hometown of Senator Ali Ndume, the Chairman Senate Committee on Army and is a border town between Borno and Madagali LGA of Adamawa State. A married woman was flogged 100 times for confessing to have committed adultery in Indonesia while her male partner, who was married too, received 15 lashes. The woman’s flogging in the conservative Aceh province on Thursday, January 13, was briefly paused because she could not bear the pain, according to an AFP reporter. Passengers of a 14-seater bus from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital, en route Lagos, were abducted by suspected gunmen in Imo State on Tuesday, January 11. The passengers who were travelling in a bus marked “Government of Akwa Ibom State” were abducted at Obiohuru community in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of the state.
