More than 10 soldiers were killed and some others injured when terrorists attacked a military base in Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Monday, security sources told Channels Television. However, the military authorities have yet to confirm the attack. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says notification slips for its 2022 mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are ready for printing. JAMB which made this known in its Weekly Bulletin from the Office of the Registrar on Monday in Abuja said the mock examination is scheduled for April 9.. The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has blamed Governor Nasir El-Rufai for alleged killings and kidnapping plaguing Kaduna State. After seven days, 21 passengers were still missing among the 170 aboard the Abuja-Kaduna train attacked by terrorists last Monday, the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), has confirmed. Nigeria‘s COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus Programme (NG-CARES) says it has disbursed N35.3 billion to the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to boost its performance in the country. Akwa Ibom State Government has evacuated 34 stranded citizens from Katsina State following heightened banditry and insurgency in some parts of the state.
