The governor’s 11-hour reprieve followed the clemency recommendation of the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board, which voted 3-1 on November 1 that Jones’ sentence be commuted to life in prison. “After prayerful consideration and reviewing materials presented by all sides of this case, I have determined to commute Julius Jones’ sentence to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole,” Stitt said in a statement. Bulgaria will decide the runoff election of its Head of State on Sunday, the country’s Election Commission said on its website on Wednesday. According to the final results of the first round on November 14, Bulgaria’s incumbent President, Rumen Radev got 49.42 per cent of the votes and will head to a runoff with Anastas Gerdjikov who received 22.83 per cent.
