No fewer than 18 people have died a day after torrential rains swept through villages and flooded roads in the southern Indian state of Kerala. Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project has sued President Muhammadu Buhari over plan to monitor WhatsApp messages, phone calls and text messages of Nigerians.
