The Federal Government has been sued to provide details of the ₦729 billion payment to 24.3 million poor Nigerians across the country. In a statement issued on Sunday, the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP), Deputy Director, Kolawole Oluwadare, said the suit with the number FHC/L/CS/853/2021 was filed at the Federal High Court in Lagos. The fate of striking Nigerian resident doctors and other health workers appears to be sealed as Federal government has directed that they won’t be paid for the period they are on strike.
