The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has queried Channels Television over an interview granted to Benue Governor Samuel Ortom. Recall that NBC fined Channels Television N3 million over its “unprofessional coverage” of the EndSARS protests and the crisis that followed it in October 2020. In April 2021, the commission suspended the broadcast licence of Channels Television and imposed a N5 million fine on the station for alleged breach of the broadcast code in its live programme entitled: Politics Today. Tuesday’s attack on Yelwa Zangam village of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State by bandits has resulted in shortage of blood for the victims.
