The ring, Marigold, or “The Ring of Prosperity,” has a circular band with an ornate floral design, complete with thousands of 38.08 carat natural diamonds. Akwa Ibom’s domestic debt has risen to N239.21 billion, representing 5.71 per cent of the total domestic debts owed by sub-national governments as of third quarter of 2020. This figure is the latest data from the Debt Management Office, and places Akwa Ibom on the third row among the heavily indebted.
