Lagos State has returned as epicentre of COVID-19 having recorded 71 new cases. This is as Nigeria recorded 151 new COVID-19 cases, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). In its Twitter handle on Friday, NCDC announced that the pandemic was reported in 10 Nigerian states. These states are Ogun-26, Kaduna-17, Osun-10, Oyo-8, FCT-6, Rivers-6, Plateau-5, Akwa Ibom-1 and Ekiti-1. So far, confirmed cases have risen to 59,992 while 51,614 have been discharged 1,113 persons died from the virus in the country.
