Like a horror film, angry mob beheaded and set five suspected robbers ablaze on Saturday in Akwa Ikot Effanga community in Akpabuyo Local Government Area of Cross River State. It was gathered that a seven-man gang allegedly broke into a shop at about 3 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, and made away with electronic gadgets worth thousands of naira and undisclosed amount of money. A total of 113 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) stated this in a late-night tweet on Saturday. A woman (name withheld) was on Saturday nabbed and detained in Vienna, Austria after she called the police and confirmed that she had killed her three children. Officers who arrived at the woman’s apartment in the morning hours found two dead children, an eight-month old boy and a three-year-old girl.
